When the Qatari owned Al-Quds al-Arabi engages in a full-scale effort to sweeten the image of Al-Qaeda’s Nusrah Front in syria, and then highlights in the same issue the alleged sectarian-anti-sunni actions of some Shiites and Christians in Damascus… well it is a hint of where things are going, bolstered by the rhetoric of Nusrah’s commander the other evening on Qatar’s Al-Jazeera.
