Tabler predicts controlled implosion, but then says, however “anything can go wrong”
Andrew has this insight in the NYT’s piece – sadly WINEP/tabler is the only outside expert quotes except for rob malley buried at the end! Incredible.
And so, naturally, we get this incredible statement:
“We’re looking at the controlled demolition of the Assad regime,” said Andrew J. Tabler, a Syria expert at the Washington Institute for Near East Policy. “But like any controlled demolition, anything can go wrong.”
– Actually, Andrew, if a controlled demolition is done correctly, anything should NOT go wrong!
Andrew, however, since day one, misses the real point – or at least he in concealing it, which is more likely given the WINEP strategy: THERE WILL BE NO SUCH THING AS A CONTROLLED IMPLOSION IN SYRIA….
